Classes are small, usually 6-10 students, and are organized by proficiency level. Instructors spend six periods with their assigned students daily. The DLIELC campus offers a comprehensive academic environment for the faculty and students. DLIELC is open year-round and work hours are from 7:15am to 4:00pm Monday-Friday.

DLIELC is looking for tech-savvy, experienced instructors who can collaborate professionally in a hybrid academic and military environment:
* Position: English as a Second Language Instructor
* Series and Grade: 1701-11 (Federal Service GS-11 position)
* Location: Joint Base San Antonio Lackland, Texas
* Work Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)
* Clearance and Vetting: hiring candidates must undergo an initial background investigation for SECRET clearance and maintain the status as a
condition of employment.
* Mobility Agreement: hiring candidates must sign a mobility agreement as a condition of employment. DLIELC periodically supports overseas
English instruction (of limited time duration) via Mobile Training Teams.
